Do those hold a sense of distance except via trance or audible range?

I know that we can judge the distance of objects from their apparent size and position in our optical field compared to our beliefs about its actual size or elevation, or if it makes a nouns, from the differential inputs in our ears.
But I find I get confused about the distance of objects when I tramp using my reading glasses, and often misjudge it, with the consequence that I bump into things, which does not appear with my naked eye. So I wondered if I have another distance sense which is giving me a estimate of distance that conflicts beside what my eyes are telling me. Otherwise I don't know how to explain this

i don't know much, but, i would guess that your brain remembers where things are at all times. Kind of close to, when you get up in the middle of the night and its gloom, and you can't see, but you have a sense of where things are. Yeah, thats the part contained by your brain that remembers the smallest of things, like, oh yeah, i placed that shoebox on the floor, i better watch out for it.
