Ibuprofen
Diclofenac (Voltarol)
You can have these drugs in different ways including
As a juice or tablet every 4 to 8 hours
As slow release tablets that you take every 12 hours
As an injection
As a suppository (into your back passage)
Some of these drugs are available without a prescription but other ask your doctor for advice on when and if to take them. They can irritate your stomach lining and you shouldn't lug them if you have any history of stomach ulcers or stomach bleeding. They can also slow the time it takes for your blood to clot and so you should not cart them with other drugs that slow your blood clotting, such as warfarin. have you tried ibuprofen? thats what I take. You could also try tylenol or naproxen (aleve). The only item is don't take more than 4000 mgs in 1 day of tylenol or you risk liver desecrate. Good luck, and if the pain gets too bad step to your docter and ask him for pain meds.
Advil (ibuprofen) is a polite pain killer that's non-narcotic and won't make you drowsy. Same beside Tylenol (acetaminophen).
Pretty much all narcotics make you drowsy, but if you're in ample pain it's worth it. After my c-section I took Percocet and it was a life shareholder.
Not in my experience.
The non-drowsys tend to make most people more tired =P
