How long does it purloin for anesthesia to wear past its sell-by date?
i was giving it about 11 this morning for a colonoscopy and it is now 1pm and i'm still thought very sleepy and extremely dizzy
when will this go away?

A couple of hours. I broke my tibia and they gave my loads of morphine and I kept getting sleepy and dizzy it took 7 hours for it wear rotten for me, but everyone is different. It also depends on how much they gave you.
i was given anesthesia for a endoscopy a couple of years ago, and it took just about 5 or 6 hours for the anesthesia to mostly wear off, but it took about 20 hours for it to fully wear off, because i still feel pretty sleepy. Source(s): good luck on your baby :)
