What crop up past physician assistant call for you?
someone had a CT scan done and report was sent from lab ( after reviewing by radiologist) to referring doc and you get a send for from doc office from doc's assistant with your result. I would like to know what begin after getting the report from lab? Does referring doc first review it and then write a report and then his assistant call us or after getting result from lab ... directly doc assistant hail as us?
Answers:
yeah doesn't make much sense
Yes, the doctor will most likely review the results and decide if you need to bee see or not. Physician's assistants don't interpret results; that's the doctor's job.
Contrary to one answers, PA DO interpret CTs, etc. I do it frequently.
The PA will get the radiologist's report, look over your record, and then ring up you with the results. The plan of care will vary base on the results. Source(s): surgical PA
