I'm merely wondering. My sister is getting one and it says that you can't eat past midnight. Why?
Answers:
They won't allow you to guzzle or drink after midnight because they give sedation for the procedure. There is always a risk with anesthesia of aspirating, and if within is food or liquid in the stomach and it goes within to the lungs, this can cause pneumonia and even death.

I wish your sister great nouns with the procedure. I know several people the ESI (Epidural Steroid Injection) has done wonders for.
