Will Brain-death EVER know how to be reversed? Ever? :( ......?
Even in the far futre? Or does brain-death mean your gone forever and its not reversable? Thanks in mortgage xxx

I think if a brain dies afterwards it would have to be re-educated once brought back to life as if the natural life or energy to the brain has gone then so would the information......deeply, the person would return as a cabbage!
It will never happen!
Well some neurones in nerves repair themselves and if you can coax to the undermined brain cells to regenerate - who knows what the future holds? It seem stem cells where Billions of lbs worth of research is poured is the most promising for tissue repair where it as a rule wont occur.
I think that experimentally they have made progress within it with the heart. I read in the Hospital Doctor that they found that some men with heart transplants from womanly donors actually grew cardiac cells of their own, proven due to the presence of Y chromosomes found in the cardiac cell. So able to regenerate where there be no possibility which is what you have with heart death.
Perhaps if you feel of the brain as another organ, Someday in the future you can reverse to an extent some brain damage where on earth there is still some neural activity that would normally be call brain death, but if its progressed to far there is nothing that can be done - the equivalent of putting duration into an inanimate object.
Any progress in this area of brain interfere with wont bring back people to life from brain extermination, but it could help those with neurological disorders like meningitis or dementia I don`t know if you can coax the brain to regenerate the damaged tissue. Source(s): medical student
tbh i think the brain is far too complex for that, some things are best left as they are.
if the brain death is caused by hypoxia (O2 starvation)..there may be a solution..hypoxia triggers apotosis (programmed cell passing..useful against cancers, tumors etc in middle-of-the-road circumstances)..this self destruct mechanism is gener8ed by the release of chem signals within the cell..if these chem signals could be inhibited somehow..then altho electrical signals for usual brain activity would shut down to peripheral high constraint areas like the senses..the neurons would remain intact..apparently some vertbr8 groups like fish and reptiles have this facility and can survive beside no oxygen for long periods in a state of virtual/paradoxical 'death' Source(s): justmadeitallup!
It could be possibly reversed since the brain communicates through electronic impulses back and forth through the neurons. If we amount out how to make the electrical signals going back and forth then we could reactivate the cell that are not communicating with the other neurons. It could stimulate the cells into getting back into use. If the cell are dead new ones are created over time but they have to be used up to that time they do u any good. But if they are just unused they could be put back into communication next to practice.
If it is possible, all memories and such are gone, since the brain dies, it pretty much 'delete' everything, you're with the sole purpose going to create a zombie that way.
Well never say never who knows what will happen contained by the future?
As it currently stands, brain death is not reversible. Source(s): Registered Nurse
If anybody knew, dya not think it'd be available right in a minute!
One day, probably. Look how far studies have get in the last thirty years, how technology and medicine have improved. Probably not for a long time though.
