Does anyone know how long the numbness last after a 5th metacarpal surgery?

I recently broke my 5th metacarpal bone. My pinky and ring fingers have been numb ever since.
Answers:
If the effrontery was torn (completely separated), then it will never return.
If the nerve be just stretched, then it will grow back the injured fragment at the rate of nearly 1 mm per day. Meaning it depends on how long the distance is from the edge of your spine on the middle of your neck down the vertebrae of your arm to the tip of the finger.
Usually 500-600 mm so it may take over a year.
