oh first of al congratuations on graduating high school
very well if u have a good gpa or good sit score
u could enrole in a pre med school which will inculcate u the basic of life science for two years
after which u can go to med academy, which will be 4 and half years of study plus one year of internship
after which u can do your further specialization in any field u want Source(s): contained by med school myself:0
The following assumes you are a resident of the United States or Canada.

Start by going to college. You really want a four-year college degree (a Bachelor's degree). It doesn't have to be in the sciences, but it's usually a obedient idea. You must have, at minimum, a full year of biology with lab, a full year of chemistry next to lab, a full year of organic chemistry, a full year of physics, a full year of calculus, and a year of English courses (literature or something like it); if you don't major contained by a science field, you must take these as electives.

In your third year of college, you should plan to sit for the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT), then apply to medical school in the spring.

Medical school itself is usually another four years after college. You will spend 2 years in classrooms studying the primary science of medicine, then 2 years in hospitals study the practice of medicine by observing more senior physicians. During this time, you will be exposed to the five major disciplines of medication: Surgery, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Internal Medicine (which includes everything not in the first four). You will decide on your discipline of choice; during your last year of arts school, you will apply for residency positions in that discipline.

When you graduate with your MD or DO, you will start your residency in your discipline of choice. Residencies oscillate in length depending on the field; IM and Peds are 3 years, Psych is 4, Surgery and OB/GYN are 5. If you wish to specialize, you will turn on to do a fellowship after your residency. Again, length varies. Most specialties in IM and Peds are 2 years. Neurosurgery and cardiac surgery are 4 (so those disciplines take a total of NINE YEARS of post-graduate training). Source(s): I did it!
In High School you want to focus on Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry, Latin, Math, and Psychology. Try to get the AP classes, although the courses surrounded by High School don't matter much, what you really need to do is get into college and win high grades in a Pre-med type curriculum and then apply to Med School
Hi, first past its sell-by date you should take A levels which would help if they relate to anyone a doctor ideally the sciences and maths or you could do a diploma in health and social care which works reasonably well i think ...
then you could do a point with the UCAS points u will achieve if enough to do a scope in that plasstic surgery field which could last a few years :) and consequently it wont be long till you are! :D good luck and then maybe you can hand over me discounts or free lol not that i want plastic surgery lol
Go into pre-med. Make sure you enjoy enough money to cover school. You can get scholarship, loans, grants, or work to pay for it. I suggest you don't work that many hours so that you can focus mostly on arts school if you can. Then move on to another school from there on. Once you own enough experience then you can practice. Please take it seriously because I will sue and enjoy respect for people. I once saw a doctor get all excited because someone be dying. She actually was running though the hall near a smile on her face saying "someones dying, someones saying!" What a freak.
graduate from college and then go to med arts school, once you graduate from that become a resident
