How do you regard this come just about?

This may be totally random, but its just a thought that popped out of thin nouns and I have been thinking about it for relatively some time. Okay. I have heard so many opinion and heard very little facts on this this subject. But I'm hoping to hear a different opinion of scene. What i wanted to know is How did HIV/AIDS came about? I other get vague answers and even philosophical ones. I understand its a virus and virus can come from various places. But this seems to only transmit through blood, sex, practically bodily fluids and so on. But my concern is that the Flu is a virus, but we can catch that from being in poor conditions and not taking care of ourselves properly or man near someone with it and etc. But its treatable and it goes away for a while and we hold a vaccine. I don't know how to gully explain myself, but i hope you can see what I'm getting at. We make such a big fuss with the swine flu, but we never see that with HIV/AIDS and other STD 's. (Not wise saying the swine flu isn't dangerous) For some weird reason i feel that someone know something about this Virus and they're not saying a thing in the region of it. I dunno, my curiosity is going to get me killed on these days. lol. But thankfulness in advanced to those who could possibly helped me out. and if you know where you hear or got your info from please share.

Once again Thanks:
Ryan

Hi, great question! HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) is believed to have originate from a closely-related virus, SIV (simian immunodeficiency virus) which infects certain monkeys. Monkeys are frequently hunted as bush food in parts of Africa, and the butchering process is pretty bloody--providing ample opportunity for blood-borne nouns.

In order for SIV to make the jump to humans and bring HIV, it needed to have certain mutations in place. The strain of SIV that become HIV probably already had certain predisposing mutations that enabled it to infect humans. Once in humans (the bush hunter, for instance), it may own acquired additional mutations to make human-to-human nouns easier.

By comparing the genomes of SIV and HIV in relation to the mutation rate of HIV in humans, it's estimated that SIV crossed over into humans in the 1930s or 1940s. An article intended for the public (from the BBC) describing this is at:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/501226…
And in that is a scholarly article, published in the journal Science, at:
http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/reprint/31… (but you won't be able to access it unless your arts school or university subscribes to Science).

Unfortunately, HIV is a HUGE problem, much bigger than swine flu, especially in Africa and other developing regions. Source(s): med school
Everyone makes joke about HIV arising from someone having sex with a monkey surrounded by Africa. However, it probably arose from someone butchering a monkey that was infected and then being exposed to that blood through a cut. There are tons retroviruses (use reverse transcriptase to make a DNA copy of their RNA genome and then insert it into the host cell's DNA) in monkeys. The item with HIV and other STDs has to do with their gift to spread. I can sit next to someone on the bus who has HIV all time long and not contract it. If i did that with someone with the flu I would certainly stop it. Furthermore, lethal strains of the flu can kill in days. HIV is much slower. You can also protect yourself from HIV through not dangerous practices. Good hygiene can't really help against a virus to which humans have no previous resistance. All in adjectives its psychological. The flu is uncertain. While HIV moves comparatively slow, a flu can go pandemic and kill sour millions in a few months time.
