Has anyone be through a Cataract Surgery?

my mother has an appointment next week and I wanted to know what it will be life span after the surgery. Is there somethings that she wont be able to do then in a minute? I want to know.Thank You!
Answers:
her life should be better after the surgery cuz her vision won't be foggy, she will be able to see better surrounded by the dark, and she will not be bothered as much by bright lights.

the only limitations after the surgery are temporary ones similar to:
-wearing an eye shield to bed few days
-not lifting more than 20-25 pounds for a week or two
-taking eye drops multiple times a day for a few weeks
-trying not to rub your eye while its healing
-not putting her head fully below water while swimming for a few weeks(do to the difference in pressure above and below the surface)
thats really about it.
i merely had cataract surgery 4 weeks ago and its not painful in the least possible. the worst thing for me was that mine was done underneath general anesthesia (in most cases its only done under local anesthesia) and i achieve terribly ill from general anesthesia. primarily my nausea went away by the next day and i be doing my normal routine.
I went with my mom for both of hers. The procedure take a very few minutes, and she left with an eyepatch on. She have to put three different drops in the eye, three times a day for a few days, then smaller quantity for another two weeks. Her eyesight is better than mine, now.

This is one of the least invasive procedures around today.
