Is in that a such point as a veterinary EMT?

I want to become an EMT but I don't particularly like people.
Answers:
There is no such piece as a veterinary EMT, however, there is something called a Vet Aid Technician. They are used mostly for helping injured animals and getting them to vet hospitals. Some animal protection leagues and state SPCAs use them within their animal rescue departments. Not sure how you would go about getting training for this, but a good place to start would be your local animal rescue league or state SPCA. Hope this has helped. There isn't a field for veterinary EMTs. However, you could become a veterinarian or vet tech and next try to "specialize" in emergency veterinary medicine. However, that isn't a huge field any so you may have trouble finding a demand for it. Working with trained animals on movie sets or contained by animal sports, such as racing, may provide you with a fast-paced, emergency-like setting.
