Help next to information almost mortal a Nurse Practitioner?

I am thinking about becoming a nurse practitioner. i was planning on going to pharmacy school, but i am purely really not interested in doing that and i wanted something that would be a little more interesting. I lately want to know what exactly are the responsibilities i will encounter as a nurse practitioner. Is it really worth the schooling with the pay scale and adjectives? Please answer!
