how do you know when you need to seek medical help after overdosing on tylenol? i know someone who took several more over the amount they should hold taken. they were sick for a day feeling not at your best and throwing up but was fine after. but since the accident about 2 weeks ago they hold been feeling tired, sleeping a lot, not quite eating and having no appetite. could something be wrong? should they seek medical attention? do you regard the problem could worsen if tylenol is used or abused again?
Answers:
They need checked for liver destruction.
Tylenol is absolutely the most dangerous over the counter drug on the open market. Over dosing it melts the liver. It is that simple.

So depending upon how much someone took, they likely are either depressed from their stupidness, or are commencing to go into liver failure.

You can watch that come about by looking at the color of the whites of their eyes... when they turn yellow, the liver is failing.

If it has been shabby enough, it can lead to death. Source(s): My father is a physician.
Maybe the question is not relevant to the Tylenol but rather to the individuals state of mind. It sounds like they could enjoy at the very least situational depression (as opposed to unipolar or bipolar). The progress in appetite and sleeping habits are usually good indicators and the overdosing (probably on purpose) are signs of disturbance. To answer your query, I don't think it a bad idea to bear them for medical attention, however I think you problem is deeper than Tylenol.
Wow, what a technical explanation for a pre-k student. You are truly a inspiration to us all!! WOW!
I guess livers and ice cream enjoy more in common than we thought. :/
Tylenol can be taken surrounded by greater that reccomended quantities due to its kinetics of elimination. I believe the fatigue your friend is experiencing is unrelated and they should aim medical attention immediatley. Source(s): Pharmacology
