Should I run next to drug or nursing?

I am a freshman in college, and I am feeling overwhelmed about decide what I should do in my future-such a cliche. ;)
I would like to pursue a career surrounded by the medical field; however, I am not sure yet if I am willing to commit myself to such a risky art plan.
Nursing is another career that I am interested in.
My original Ex. plan be to get a bachelors degree in nursing, and help yourself to some pre-med classes. Now, I know that this plan is highly inconvenient. I need to choose between the two.
I more into the science of medicine. I love research about the how's and why's. Nursing will not teach me about the science so much, but I will cram to really help people. Also, with a bachelors and nursing I can start working, and coming from a drastically poor family, I need the money. There are so many reason I would love to do either of them.
I know these two are very different yet hold a similar goal, help the people.
Do you give attention to I should just risk everything I got ( my time and money), and just step with the med school plan?
Do you know anyone who decided to switch between the two?
Please lately tell me your general opinion on nursing and drug.
How do you really know you want to be part of medicine or nursing?

You cannot not truely help anyone without knowing adjectives there is to know about science , you can help alittle bit but you would be capable of do so much more if you go into the scientifical medical field rather afterwards nursing I think you should risk it all because its not really that much of a risk anyways if thats what you truely want to do. JUST goo all contained by and jump off the edge short even a little flitch dont hesitate and just fallll because it will be the one of best things that have ever happened to you if you do.
Physician assistant is shorter. Cross between the two. You won't need practice equipment.
Ask yourself if you want to do it... Not us?
Take your required classes and reflect about it while completing them. Do some work in these fields, try moonlighting as a segment time CNA and that will get you into the down and dirty of what it means to help relatives. Nursing is about a lot of paperwork as well as helping inhabitants, if you want to make money I would go with Medicine. Right immediately you are a freshman, ask your councilor what requirement classes should prepare you for either field. So that when you are ready surrounded by a couple of years to make that choice you can. Who know in 2 yrs you may be disinchanted with both field. I went in for Nursing and came out beside a major in Social Work with prominence on Psychology. Right now I would keep your general studies indistinctly centered around the health care field so that you can put together a choice later. Good Luck!
You have need of a high GPA to get into med school. Are you feeling like to get above a 3.5? If not, go with nursing.
