I want some medical relief here on something?

ok my 8 month old neice fell and the thing in the inside of her upper lip the item that attaches to the upper lip and gum its deattached its not attached to the gum no more is it ok is she gonna be fine my sis (her mom) is worried that she might not talk anymore plz help is she gonna be ok and will it grow back

in good health, she definitely should go see a doctor. that could hurt her development surrounded by speech, and it could require surgery to fix, so she could talk again. im not trying to scare you or anything, but that is impressively serious, what happened to her. you should get the doctor to check her out and see if this will hurt her speech and if she may need to attain surgery, and in the future, get speech minister to. hope this helps you!
If she had caused any defacement to that part of her upper lip she would have had bleeding ensue.I had my upper lip cut with glass when another child accidentally run into me carrying a glass in his hand. It cause severe bleeding & tore the area of the gum you described. My lip was sutured (10 sutures) but the doctor did not suture there & it heal fine. Speech was not affected at all.
