I took 12 advils today?
I just realized i took TWELVE advil pills today !! is this really bad?? i took 2 every 4 hours because of my cramps :/
should i run to the hospital?? I'm worrieddd !! HELP PLEASE

you are not supposed to exceed 6 in one day according to the directions. You are supposed to use the smallest forceful dosage like 1 or 2 pills. I would go to hospital just to engender sure your okay.

No this is not considered an overdose, you must exceed 2,400mg of ibuprofen within 24 hours for it to be an overdose, unless you're very small. Check you're tablets, most are 200mg per tablet, but some can contain more.
If you have no symptoms then you are probably fine. Just stop taking them for at least 12 hours to allow your system to cleanse itself.
If you are experiencing symptoms later maybe call a help column if there is one in your area, or phone call the hospital before going down and taking all that time in the ER. It is entirely possible that formerly you are seen any excess drugs may clear your system by themselves. (Symptoms might be such things as ringing in your ears, dizziness, vomiting, weakness).

Advil is very doomed to failure for your stomach . I never take two advils at once cause it gives me bleak stomach cramps. but as long as you see your self fine then you should be ok. but if you feel like your getting ill or anything like that go to the doctor.
