Please lend a hand me! What drugs are adjectives for tics?
Guys.. I am desperate here. I am 17. I have a horrible tic, I click my teeth, sort of smacking them. Its been there for over a year and it is hurting my jaws, I can narrowly eat on my left side the pain is awful, and medication I am on makes me a zombie during the day. I take antidepressents also so tolerate me give you brief summary of what I am on now
Currently on:
- Lexapro 10 mg
- Lamictal 200
- Klonopin 1 mg
- Tenex (just started it)
I have tried surrounded by the past
- Risperdal
- Seroquel
- Clondine
The above mention drugs are ALL ineffective. The only one I have have success with is Klonopin, and it is starting to wear off ( I assume because I enjoy built up a tolerance)
Please don't give me herbal remedies or tell me relax and take a saunter in the park, I cant live the rest of my life with this, and rest assured I enjoy hope I will find something to help me. I have done hours of research on meds, but I DO NOT want to start taking the older typical anti-psychotics such as Haldol and Orap.
I am begin to any suggestions, Iv read about nicotine, marijuana, anti-psychotics everything. Note I do not have a diagnosis of Tourettes syndrome, and I only own this one tic (but who knows, maybe it is minor Tourettes)
Anything please, anything that wont be overly sedating, man I have aspirations to be psychiatrist, and I can't consent to this get in my way or my studies. It is weakening and embarssing, and sometimes I cant hold it in no matter what. It tends to crop up less in situations I am engaged contained by an activity i like (when i play the piano for example)
Opiates, Benzos, nicotine dip or gum, rolling up a joint, alcohol, i dont vigilance what i have to do. Please give me suggestions and what has worked for you. My psychologists is other suggesting methods to distract myself from the tic but it just does not work, its always there no issue how much I try to ignore it. If you look at my MedicineFreeFAQ.com you can see I try to help people next to their problems concerning depression, but I cannot help myself with this and I feel resembling theres no more options
Thankyou for reading this and your answer

Holy crap. Don't let the doctors turn you into a sheep.
1) Find a hobby, do what you love.
2) Go to a really good hypnotherapist....
3) Stop relying on medication.
