Does anyone know nearly any free or low cost programs for prosthetic legs?

Answers:
There are a few places that you can look into. For one thing, if the person in stipulation is a veteran or in the military, I would first contact the local VA hospital in your area and inaugurate there. If this is not the case, then I would want to know if the call for for a prosthetic leg is due to a birth defect, or if it is due to an injury. If it is due to an injury, and the injury happened on the job, afterwards you should contact a Workman's compensation lawyer for assistance. Many of these lawyers do not charge a fee unless you win the suitcase, and in many cases you can find a lawyer who will do the crust pro-bono. If none of the above apply then check out the following places:

You might also look up schools that teach the art and science of making prosthetics and orthotics. As oodles of these places need patients to volunteer to help in the schooling process. Similar to going to a dental school and having your dental work done there. The work will be perform by a student but will be supervised by a licensed dentist and the work is done at a greatly reduced cost.
