As a pediatrician, I wouldn't "relish" the theory of being called Dr. Pickles.
In our town we had urologists name Leake and Wiwi, surgeon named Payne. My most favorite was the wonderful physician's wife who headed the local chapter of LaLeche. Her identify was Rosie Busam.

I had a dentist whose name was Freddie Kruger and my first appointment I ever have was on a Friday the 13th.
When I made the appointment, I had no idea of anything expect his finishing name, when I got to his office and surrounded by the chair I said "Gee I hope your name isn't Freddie" He told me his name be Fredrick but his family all called him Freddie.
Every time he come at me with the drill I started to but out laughing, finally I was able to control myself.
I think it's a great name for a pediatrician. Fun sounding. Not such a good mark for a urologist. :)

In my younger days I worked with an Ob-Gyn named Swindle, and some of the babies he deliver were cared for a pediatrician named Crook. Now to be exact more worth a worry, or a chuckle!
