Benzos and addiction?

ok i know bezos are addicting but is there any that are less addicting then others? i hold bad anxiety and i want one that isnt very addicting
Answers:
no addiction
Excellent question. Benzodiazepines are Class IV substances with psychological addition potential. As such, if you use them strictly as needed the potential for addiction is smaller quantity.

The lower the euphoric effect the less the chance for addiction. Lorazepam or Oxazepam have smaller quantity euphoria than diazepam.

Also: lower doses help limit the potential for addiction, so use a dose that alleviates anxiety but does not cause euphoria. Source(s): I am a pharmacist
As far as benzodiazepines are concerned, they are addictive. That's why doctors should prescribe them only for up to 4 weeks- not longer.
BDZ that are long acting tend to user less, nevetheless it is still a risky business.

There is also a newer generation of anxiolytics (zopiklon, zaleplon, zolpidem) which are described as less addictive.

You can also use buspiron but this one starts acting after a week or two of taking so it is not suitable for illogical anxiety.

You can take BDZ but with care. And if you suffer from anxiety so much, after try starting psychotherapy (preferably CBT).

Best wishes!
All particularly addictive and life destroying.
