What would ensue if someone DRANK heroin or ingested it?

so for whatever reason ins ted of injecting heroin someone decides to drink it/ or boil it and drink it. what would happen?

It would have the same effect as if it were injected or smoked, the birth would simply be slower.
medicine in general works more slowly if it is ingested a bit than injected. heroin is dangerous either way, but it's more chancy to inject.
Its a drug, if it enters your body it will go into effect. However, as it will be filter somewhat through your stomach, it will take longer to enter your bloodstream, and have less of an effect.

HOWEVER. Not with the sole purpose is heroin illegal, it is VERY addictive, and HIGHLY dangerous... stick to cannabis or other herbal substances that are safer and legal. I do NOT condone the use of drugs, only just marijuana. =)
