Have you (or a family member you accompanied to a doctor's visit) ever received a medication via the parenteral route? What route be used (ID, subcut, IM, IV)? What medication was administered? Were there any problems/issues in regard to the administration of the medication? Did the health care worker use Universal Precautions?
