How lots years will it thieve me after minor to become a doctor (GP)?

well im still in secondary conservatory and my carrer desire is to be a GP.

i was just interested in how long it will bring in years basicly.

someone told me i would have to do 2 years in college and consequently 2 in universtiy before i would take 5 years within medical school before i could be a GP. so thats like 9 years.

some one else said it would pinch 5 years in medical school and then a 2 year course past i could be a GP. and thats like 7 years.

so really how long does it take?

to become a gp takes 7 years at university plane, your time will be spent in formal study and within the work place ie a hospital, you will need righteous college grades in science which must include biology this will take 2 years

so in total 9 years to bring a basic gp qualification. beyond that you top up your training as a junior doctor at the hospital and have a mix of formal and informal education working beneath an expert\ consultant in your chosen specialized area eg surgery
