B positive blood and food allergies?

I heard a bit about this and would like to hear from some scientists more or less how valid it is. Is there a relationship between blood type and digestive problems? Is it possible that if that is true, that the digestive issue is being call an allergenic issue?
Answers:
There is absolutely no scientific evidence for blood types being relatein seventh heavenood allergies. Your blood group is simply the types of proteins that are found on the surface of your red blood cells and do not correlate with food allergies.
Also, digestive problem (also no relation to blood types) are not allergies. An allergy is an immune mediated response and have symptoms such as a rash, itching, swelling or in severe cases anaphylaxis. Diarrhoea or gastrointestinal symptoms are due to a food intolerance, not an allergy. Source(s): doctor
