What Is the time term on a uk prescription to be collected from the Pharmacy.?

Mine is dated february, can I still put it in at the pharmacy?
Answers:
I work surrounded by a UK Pharmacy.
NHS prescriptions for the majority of medication (excluding controlled drugs) are valid for 6 months from the date of issue- so if it is for hayfever, it should be fine. Source(s): Work
Hi in that
I'm not totally sure i just posted mine or i could have checked
If you just embezzle it in they will tell you there & next
Depending on what the medication is they can easily phone your GP and check that you are still on this medication but why so out of date you must have have medication in that time and a repeat order or have you a short time ago lost the latest one ??.
Anyway all the best hope you get sorted.

nhs prescriptions are valid for 6 months from the date they were written, so yours is still in date. Source(s): pharmacy assistant
You will still be able to collect it. However as you have done without it up to immediately it's obviously not needed.
it will be ok Source(s): i am english
