How a peptide is used contained by Drug Development?

I am still confuse how a peptide is being used as Drug Development. I found mostly peptide are for Research use while peptide based drugs are used for human. What are these drug? Are they still indistinguishable peptide? or peptide properties has been changed in Drug Development?

I'm somewhat confused by the cross-examine. The peptides that are used for research are the same as those used for drug development. Sometimes, they modify the structure slightly in an attempt to dwindle or eliminate degradation by the body, or to try to make it catch through membranes better, or cross the blood brain barrier better. But they really are the same. The big problem with using peptides as drugs is that they achieve chewed up by proteases, and peptidases very quickly in the body. Also, if needed to accomplishment in the brain, they don't like to cross the blood brain barrier. A lot of research/drug nouns (same thing) is currently being done in this area. Hope this help.
