Is it the Anti-Depressants?

I am on Citalopram 40mg daily but I went on holiday two weeks ago and I forgot to pick up my repeat prescription, I did have some pills near me but not nearly enough maybe about 4 days. I am due to collect it tomorrow. However, for the concluding couple of days I have felt, very markedly tired, like some crazy person I keep falling asleep, I also grain quite desparing at times like I cant cope and dont really want to be here and also very short temper and impatient. I am not normally like this and am taking the Citalopram for anxiety so I was wondering if these symptoms be a side effect of missing the pills, or that I am coming down with something nasty as I feel dreadful or its basically a bad case of PMT.
Does anyone know what happens when you stop these drugs cold turkey??
