A few question around Biomedical Science.?
So, I am applying for Uni to study Biomedical Science. I was wondering what I would be able to do after a Degree,Masters and hopefully a PhD. I would ideally like to progress into research but I am also interested in a more applied aspect of Biomedical Science.
Thanks in advance, Arron.
Answers:
A scope in biomedical science is excellent. I have one. You can go on to study graduate drug, or dentistry, it also provides a great background for veterinary medicine however as with adjectives University degrees you can go on to study a Masters and then a PhD.
A PhD is drastically useful if you want to go into research. You can go into research beside your 3-year BSc but I wouldn't advise it as you'll just be a lab-rat. Getting a doctorate degree (PhD) will also cause you available to lecture if you choose to work at a University. It will make you the head of a research troop, not just managing the entire project but also your own lab-rats (BScs), Masters students and your own PhD students and Post-Docs. A PhD is the highest degree horizontal attainable so go for it!
