Question more or less garlic pills? is this a side effect?

hi, i have been fighting a cold, so i go to the store and buy some garlic pills, i took after dinner with water, and now inside my body similar to in my head, up and down my arms, chest, back...i consistency like a cool feeling, like how vicks vapor rub feel when you put it on like hot/cold/menthol......i dont feel sick or nauseous....i merely feel like someone injected my blood with altoids, or peppermint, eucalyptus, the response isn't hurting me, i was just curious if this is a good aversion or bad?? my hub took a garlic pill also and he says he feels one and the same thing, never of us have tried garlic in former times (except in food) so we don't know if this feeling is normal or not.....good/bad etc.......any backing would be great........thanks!!

I don't take garlic pills ... I take the fresh stuff instead ... however I can't bring to mind ever experiencing anything like you describe. Usually, I feel warmer inside. Garlic doesn't hurt you (unless you're allergic to it) though so don't verbs about that. Take some vitamin C too, about a thousand mgs at various times throughout the light of day - that will help A LOT! Hope you feel better soon!
