In the show scrub, and house, what enclosed space of prescription are the doctors?
In the shows, I know it sounds lame so don't criticize me, but it inspired me to be a doctor, what field of medicine are they in?

In Scrubs I believe Cox is what you would call a hospitalist, he doesn't own a private practice, he works for the hospital. Basically, a hospitalist is a doctor who works for the hospital, and is on call for anything and everything. He might be internal medicine which is basically anything to do near organ systems.
