At what age should a thriving creature start taking it flowing?

At 40 years old, I seem to be in as suitable of shape (or better) as many people younger than me... some half my age. I suppose some of i.e. because of being lucky and not inheriting genetic diseases, but when people ask why I "look so young" I say "Simple: Eat, exercise, rest, meditate, stretch, and be jolly... as if your life depended on it." I'm very active...I similar to to climb, skydive, do karate, sail, lift weights, and travel.

So the question is (since I don't enjoy a family doctor because I've never needed one), at what age is it really time to back off? I be determined, bones get brittle, eyesight deteriorates, and mental function degrades. Perhaps the answer is "the day I break my leg skydiving?" How antiquated is too old?
Answers:
Never.

Staying active is the best way to stay wholesome. I know a pediatric surgeon who not only carries a full schedule within his eighties, but runs and bikes upwards of 100 miles a weekend.

If you do break a leg skydiving, find a doctor to set it, please? *g* Source(s): Pediatric nerurology resident. (Age 41.)
Never. Active people live longer.
