THC and its effects on Dogs...or animals?

I know the effects on humans, but how does it really effect say a dog or any other animal that a person may pass the drug on to?

I don't know give or take a few other dogs, but my dog goes crazy and runs all over the house for about 20 minutes and next passes out for like 2 hours or more. Other animals I'm not sure about, but I watch a friend of mine get a baby opossum high on butane lighter fumes one time and it keeled over and died. Poor point.
dude haven't you ever seen half baked with dave chappelle...jk jk my guess is for dogs it'll enjoy the same effect as it does on humans but other animals im not so sure about
