What parts of the skull can the brain be touched?

i don't know much of the human body but i was just wondering what part of the skull where on earth the brain is not blocked by bone. Like how the skull protects the brain and keeps things such as flies if they fly in your ear but they can't get to the brain since bone is protecting the brain. I read one an article just about an amoeba attack and how this type of amoeba went up a person's nose and from there the amoeba get into the brain so I'm thinking between the brain and the insides of the nose there is no bone blocking the brain. I hope I didn't confuse you guys.

The skull is also known as the vault because it protects the brain. There is no 'point of entry', as this would make us massively vulnerable to life-threatening infections. Even if you got through the bone, you still have an assortment of layers of meningeal tissue and cerebrospinal fluid to get to the brain tissue itself. Source(s): I'm a doctor
Except for the small foramen where the spinal cord exits, and the even smaller foramina where the cranial nerves exit, the brain is completely enclosed by bone. The cribriform plate, where on earth the olfactory nerve exits, isn't really much of a hole at all, in conventional situations, but that's really somewhat beside the point. Meningitis happens, too, by invasion from the blood stream, but it takes something abnormal. The route isn't direct or effortless.
depends where you drill the hole
There is bone between the back of the proboscis and the brain however it is thin and can be broken. Also the brain is covered with several layers call meninges which protect the brain in addition to the skull. Source(s): PA
okay there is a barrier in the body that protects the brain. it is made of blood plasma and keep such things out of the brain
