Is it typical to know how to see your heart?
I was on my way to the shower, and I suddenly noticed that a member of my chest is vibrating in sync with my heart. I've never notice this before, so is it just me being in the dark, or is there a bigger problem?

haha lol, aboslutely normal to see your heart beating. at first when i saw your interview , i thought you could literally see your heart because either you were incredably thin or your skin is deeply thin
Apparently you can feel your blood being pumped very forcefully through your abdominal aorta if you perceive somewhere on your lower back. I actually missed the practical they showed us this but some students said afterwards they could feel it a short time ago by sitting on a chair! Source(s): med student
it's ok. unless you are feeling an erratic or irregular heart beat, dizziness or lightheadedness when this happen don't sweat it. it's normal- especially if you're thin. sometimes i notice mine in my lower abd when i'm lay down.
