soo im having surgery today and people tell me to try and be unperturbed but its hard :/ just thinking about start heart surgery makes me dizzy. lol soo uhm yeah if you can answer the question that would be lovely

Listen to calm or muted music. Something that is right for you. People do sell calming cds which are specifically intended for getting people through surgery. I really like classical music to calm me down. But not adjectives classical music is the same. For example, my favorite song is Pachelbel's Canon in D. Also, if classical is not your thing, try flimsy music like Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry, Be Happy" or Izzy's "Somewhere Over The Rainbow." You can buy them on itunes or snatch them off of limewire.
Listen to a band you similar to.
