Doctor a moment ago increased Wellbutrin XL 150mg to XL 300 mg..?
Since I built up tolerance to the Wellbutrin XL 150s, he prescribed 300 MG XL. How much of a differance will I notice in my mood? He told me that it will considerably increase my mood and energy.
If your wondering I hold Major Depression, Borderline tendencies, and BiPolar. Also have Muscular Dystrophy, severe chronic pain, scoliosis...

It's not really an exact science, how the drug will affect your mood varies from person-to-person.
I have been taking Wellbutrin XL for slightly some time now. As the other answers stated it is up to the individual. Myself personally I was prescribed the 150mg for two weeks and consequently they boosted it to the 300mg and I noticed a very big difference. At first it made me sick to my stomach but eventually that went away. I hope this help.
From my experience on it, increasing the dosage seem to be more stimulating. I believe at a certain higher dosage the effects on norephenephrine or dopamine become more apparent and the stimulatory effects similar to some way forming drugs appear. I can't take more than 100 mg because it makes me seriously manic which is very adjectives if you are bipolar. Be careful, it could make you very especially high..... keep your doctor informed if you have any signs of fascination or hypomania.
