How can the placebo effect be enhanced?
Answers:
put the person in a room full of people who are not getting the placebo
A good way to enhance the placebo effect would be hypnosis: Many people are told that a drug (which is really singular saline solution or sugar etc.) will help them in the healing process. Coming from a doctor, it will usually be more believable, but nearby will still be a hint of doubt deep in the subconscious. This will barricade the process slightly. If you can hypnotise a person, and get rid of the doubt completely, it should (in theory) work much faster.
a placebo works by psychosamatic effect which is the party becomes well because he or she believes the medication is helping. To enhance placebo effect, the patient have to be more convinced. Believe more.
Y take a placebo ? Like the nearer answerer who had an infection, it takes several days for standard treatment to work IF it works.
But it usually always just takes 2 days for garlic to work (yes, garlic wipes out the mrsa and the staph and the strep infection in 2 days or smaller quantity, goodle for more info).
Garlic is not used much in the untied states because of greed. Source(s): duh, go find out, and do not trust anyone.
G- I had a staph infection in my left leg twice. The first time took the course on the better side of the prognosis and I be healed after 8 weeks. The second time had the same prognosis, but this time I asked some SGI-USA counselors for guidance. They told me to follow the doctor's recommendations and also to chant Nam Myoho Renge Kyo for 8 hours a day. Five days latter, the doctor told me, "I don't recognize you, go back to work."
This amazing effect seem magical. Later, I heard other members of SGI-USA give similar experiences. If I hadn't feel it in my life, i would have dismissed it as miracle spouting. Source(s): time
By taking the non-placebo?
Placebo effects are enhanced when the interaction is more intense (like rubbing in a topical fairly than just saying something or popping a pill.) I have also read that purple pills are more potent placebos. Of course, i don't remember the insinuation. makes you wonder about the adverised 'purple pill'.
