I've been involved in the medical industry since 1975. I own seen people who do medical analysis, and I have see groups getting together to discuss a patient (the current term is: ITM -- interdisciplinary team meeting). But surrounded by all of that time, I have never met anyone or seen a group that comes close to the imagination they created for the TV show, "House."
On the other hand, I have met a TON of doctors who are as big a jerk as they represent him to be, and a majority of doctors in reality have the pseudo-god syndrome he shows soooo well on the show.
But other than those psychological issues pandemic within the medical profession, you're not going to find a real Dr. House...
