Complete sight loss within right, and presently partial contained by vanished?! And no headache currently?
I'm 15 and have been waking up next to bad headaches and complete blindness in my right eye, very soon partial in my left eye. It usually goes away by lunch but on thursday it didn't so I go to the E.R. and they thought I had ocular headaches. I go to a neurologist friday and he thought it was probably a complicated ocular migraine. He said to call if my reverie doesn't come back by monday. I still can't see. Is this a normal occurrence contained by ocular migraines?
Will I have to be hospitalized if my vision doesn't come support? Been through 3 long ones recently and don't feel like another. He also mentioned an EEG, what would that show?
I'm getting kinda freaked out and startled now! Please help!

No that is not typical of ocular headaches. Something is seriously wrong. You have need of to call the neurologist back and seek medical help out. However try to remain calm. Being stressed and worried will not help and might cause more issues.

I did not want to startle you before, but this is not typical from migraine headaches. These type headaches will incentive visual disturbance and visual impairment, not complete loss of vision.
This sounds similar to a very serious neurological problem. It could be anything from a tumor putting pressure on your optic nerve, to one of the many neurological disorders that hold this listed as a symptom.
You need to get your Mom, Dad, or guardian to embezzle you to the ER right away, and I would insist that a scan be performed of your brain, either a CT or an MRI. The EEG is fine, but the scan is necessary as okay. Source(s): Toxicologist
