I am a girl, and i want a good specialty and i understand that being a doctor will be demanding, but what are a couple of specialties where on earth you aren't spending all your time at the hospital?

There are plenty of specialties in the world of medicine that will allow you time for a kith and kin. You could be a General Practitioner, a dermatologist, a urologist, etc.

The thing is, in order to achieve to that point, you will have to undergo the rigor of medical school, internships and residencies and it is during that time, that you will find it concrete to have a life. But after you make it bygone that point, there are many places you can practice and not have to be on ring or keep terrible hours. It is just making it departed the schooling and interning and so on. Well, unless you have your own practice you'll be working plenty of hours. Hospitalists and salaried doctors and other health care specialists may work a correct many hours. However, I don't think dentists or doctors in private practice work tons hours at all. Many dentist offices are only accessible monday thru thursdays. Some of them are only open thru wednesdays. Many doctor's offices are single open monday thru thursdays, and a few are open until noon on fridays. Even afterwards many offices are closed 2-hours for lunch. Anyway, if you go into private practice I deliberate you'll have plenty of time for family. I'm just not sold that modern doctors work adjectives the long hours that their predecessors once did. Of course these days most doctors only become doctors for the potential high yield, or for the prestige of the title. Old school doctors were genuinely concerned for people's well-being. They have good bedside manners and lots of patient contact. If you want to become a doctor to really help associates, consider becoming a D.O. as opposed to a M.D., so that you'll be trained in a different mindset. A D.O. takes more time next to a patient and actually treats the problem rather than the symptoms.

I wouldn't verbs so much about hours. Your biggest challenge in becoming a doctor is getting official into medical school. You'll need a high GPA combined next to a good MCAT score. Not sure of your age, but start preparing early. Take adjectives of the biology, chemistry, and physics you can. Get an undergraduate in biology or chemistry. Of course it really dosn't matter your undergrad, but most doctors get an undergrad contained by one of those two areas. Now some states don't require a bachelor's degree, but you can take a 3-year pre-medical program and go straight into medical arts school.
