My granpa's a surgeon, and he made like 200,000 dollars.

You have to enjoy a sharp mind, of course, and you need to have soft hand. He always wore gloves to protect them.

Good luck!
I'm within college and looking at med school right now. I've heard tremendously conflicting things on the issue of dexterity requirements for surgeons. I was at an info session with a surgeon who told us that the vast majority of the face is academic (planning, etc) and that the actual physical techniques could be learned by almost anyone. He be in Otolaryngology, and he described one case where he have to place tiny instructments into the inner ear to correct balance.

Others have told me that dexterity can be what divides good surgeons from average ones.

I don't know if your shaking will exclude you from becoming a surgeon. Look up and try tying the standard surgical kink with some piece of string.

With the new robot-assisted surgery technologies, perchance dexterity will become even less of an issue.
With some surgeries, your hand do not have to be dead still. For example, an arthroscopy is one of the "rougher" types of surgery which does not require extremely still hands. Look into field such as orthopedics, OB-GYN, or maybe general surgery because these fields are not massively meticulous compared to a field like cardiovascular surgery. If you look into the fields of medication that I mentioned above or any fields that are not extremely delicate, you should be fine. Hope I helped.
If shaking hands is an issue, you could always call in a neurologist who could prescrbe you drugs for the problem. Many surgeons have large and bulky hands.
