Medical lingo serve!?

I was wondering is it possible for a word to have just a suffix and a prefix and still be a word resembling the work hypoplasia?
Hypo would be a prefix meaning below incomplete or deficient and
plasia would be a suffix meaning condition of formation, nouns, growth.
And help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.
Answers:
Yes it is adjectives. In fact, the suffix -plasia is actually formed from a root for growth or development and the suffix -ia aim condition, so it is a combination used as a suffix to mean "developmental or growth condition", or "condition affecting growth or development".
Other common terms formed by combining solely a prefix and suffix:

hyper/tension
a/trophy
dys/pnea
an/orexia
retr/o/vert
dipl/opia
