Can I use Prescription Tretinoin Gel (Vitamin A) to Prevent Fine Lines and Wrinkles?

Prescription Tretinoin (vitamin A) gel/cream is used to treat acne and also fine lines/wrinkles. I have lots of it around because I used to have acne. Now I am 22, and acne free for a bit now. I still hold lots of unexpired gel around, and more refills as well.

Can I use this now to sustain prevent aging?
Answers:
Tretinoin is the active ingredient in many products which claim to prevent aging by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is also used to run down the appearance of scars and stretch marks by increasing collagen production.

As long as you don't experience any side effects from using the product, you may see some positive results. It is advised not to use wax curls removal products as Tretinoin can cause a reduction in the mass of your skin. Waxing may then accidentally remove the outermost layer of skin which can cause much irritation.

Hope this help!
