10 Points for Doctor cross-question?
Hello. Why do people say that being a doctor is really firm?
Answers:
The degree is intricate to get, depending on the field in which you pursue, it can help yourself to 6-8 years of college, then the fact of getting into a worthy college. Then you must make a label for yourself, because lets face it, no one requests a bad, unknown, rookie doctor.
The explanation why it is so hard is because not everyone can be a doctor. The admission to medical school is definite competitive and hard to get into. You need to be loyal because people spend many sleepless years studying. That's why people bring depressed in med school. You always enjoy to study for a test because if you fail a class you are out of med school. It take 11-13 years to be a doctor. It also hard because after you finish med school you have to work 60 or more hours as a resident contained by a hospital. You need to be smart academically and mentally prepared.
No matter who you are being a doctor is tricky. It is not like other jobs where you checkout food or put cereal within the shelves. University guys don't want a idiot or a mediocre person in med school they want the best because they enjoy to save lives and when faced with extreme stress and a patient's life span a stake, they don't need someone who is going to crash and give up.
These are just some of the various reasons being a doctor is hard and why not everyone is a doctor. Doctors are within it for the patients or the challenge it brings. There not in it solely for the money. If you want to be a doctor for the right reason afterwards the best of luck and never give up. Source(s): knowledge
I disagree with the above statement you fail 1 test and you're out of med institution. Failing a subject usually means you just have to repeat it (at the cost of more money, more timed spent, lower order average grading etc..).
Including everything already said it's hard in some countries to return with in (in the country where I live it's far easier to get into med arts school than actually surviving it to the finish), high dropout rate, amount of difficult classes clumped in, horrible schedule (all of your buddies are partying whereas you're working 32 hour shifts with virtually no sleep), the ob is stressful. Between hoards of patients asking you to pay attention to them at the same time and your superiors giving you contradictory instructions, it's not enough just to be a book worm, you have to multitask and enjoy a high tolerance of stress because it's a highly stressful job.
Becoming a medical doctor requires long schooling and training. Doctors need clinical judgement, academic expertise, and the ability to deal with abundant situations including medical emergencies. Source(s): PA
