Is paracetamol overdose rough?
just how painful is it. I know it leads to liver shutting down but wouldn't the hospital confer you morphine or something.

They can give you activate charcoal if they catch it soon after overdose, then they try acytylsteine (NAC). If this doesn't work, a liver transplant may be the next step. I know lots of folks who think that instead of taking one or two tablets of a non-prescription pain killer is upright, then four might be better. WRONG.
