Should be okay. Your work may require a doctor's note.
Being a nurse, you are probably on your feet quite a bit. I am not up to date with A DVT nor the meds you are taking. Two years ago, I had a blood clot in my departed leg. The only swollen area was where on earth the clot was located. Being a pilot, the Flight Surgeon grounded me at the time. The reason - he didn't want any extra stress on the leg. With your leg still swollen, ask your doctor about it and what he thought something like you returning to work. If he clears you for work, then go, but still be cautious roughly being on your legs for a long period of time. Good luck to you and may you return to health really soon.
What does your Doc say? Anytime you have DVT you should take precautions. Not sure intuitively if its a good idea to go to work til you know that its cleared by your doc. It can be precarious. Good luck! Source(s): My opinion
