I have emergency surgery on my stomach 2 days ago, it sounds strange but I enjoy throbbing within my?

collarbone and shoulder. Does anything happen during the surgery i.e. is anything injected into the collarbone or is something placed there during the operation which would cause this? Its not beyond the pale or anything but I am really curious as to what it could be! Any answers greatly appreciated.

ask the surgeon or hospital ,that gave u the surgery
It probably isn't that. But family are "wired" in a funny way, and one of the classic signs of splenic injury, for instance, is pain simply like you're describing, on the left. As a matter of reality, if yours is on the left, it's likely from air or some other trivial irritant below the diaphragm, and it'll go away soon enough.
It sounds weird but it is actually quite adjectives. The nerves that supply the diaphragm which is the separation between the chest and abdomen also supply the shoulder. Anything irritating the diaphragm, such as a little bit of blood from recent surgery can cause referred headache to the shoulder. It should settle in a couple of days but if you have any concerns or severe pain see your doctor. Source(s): Doctor
