Possibly fluky overdose.?

My roommate thinks he might have overdosed on his sleeping medications.

I purely saw him put the bottle away and asked if he took one, he said yes, but he took one about 2 hours ago.

it is Zolpidem Tartrate 10mg.

I can't find any information about how much of an overdose is a problem, or if we should induce vomiting, or if he will be fine.

He's a bigger guy, and weights prob around 250. He's on it because of something from the army (he hasn't told me).

anyone have any adjectives information?

First of adjectives, RAWRdiddy above me, you can't judge the safeness of a drug by just looking at the number. Some drugs are taken in minute amounts, and other contained by larger amounts. For example, Paracetamol is usually taken at 500mg, and Fentanyl is taken at ~200μg. That's 2500 times difference in pure mass. So don't answer questions with ridiculous claims if you don't know crap nearly what you're talking about. Why don't you try take 500mg zolpidem.

The recommended saw dose of Zolpidem is 10mg. It seems that you're friend has taken 20mg? But if he has be using it for a while, then his body should be used to it and not have dangerous effects.

Zolpidem overdose symptoms may include sleepiness, confusion, shallow breathing, fancy light-headed, fainting, or coma.

If he experience any severe symptoms, you should bring him to a hospital.
This is actually a controlled substance. Therefore, you may want to consult with a pharmacist asap. Typically, places like Walgreens and CVS hold a pharmacist on duty at all times and will do an over the phone consult free of charge. While, 10mg seems like a small number- due to the concentrated/controlled substances this medication is made of- that is to say a lot (especially considering he normally takes 1; change like that can have negative effects on the body).
