The type of surgeon that see the lowest possible amount of blood?
Answers:
By definition, a surgeon is a "cutter".
ALL surgeons see blood, and lots of it. We collect it within buckets in the OR (suction canisters typically hold 2 liters each).
The ones that see the least amount enjoy to be eye surgeons. Eyes don't bleed much at all. Most of their work is done under a microscope. The lack of blood is correct by needles in eyeballs, which is much worse, IMHO.
If you want to be an ophthalmologist, you need to be at the very top of your med university class, as those residency positions are rather difficult to get. Source(s): I live in operating rooms.
Well their is not that much blood in brain surgery, theres still a lot of fluid though. Your gauranteed to encounter blood if you operate on any part of the human body but the brain have very few blood vessels compared to other organs- mainly meningial fluid.
