Do physician assistants ride within nouns ambulances?

i know paramedics or emts ride in the helicopter/air ambulance, but does a PA help out
Answers:
Not to my knowledge. A few medical helicopter systems fly beside MD and RN crews or MD and Paramedic crews (Stat MedEvac is one that does sometimes), but most crews are RN and Paramedic (most of Stat MedEvac helicopters, LifeFlight helicopters). Some systems fly RN with RN. I have not heard of one that flys next to PAs or NP's as well, however, I'm most familiar with the east coast and midwest. Source(s): ER resident
LifeFlight helicopters are crewed...whoever is on the crew rides. Period.
